McKoy Park is a nine-acre neighborhood recreational spot located in the Oakhurst neighborhood. The space includes a 330-foot fenced and lighted baseball field, basketball court, playground, skate park, and a large greenspace for games. There is also an outdoor classroom with seat walls at the playground.
The park is perfect for hosting celebrations or birthday parties at the picnic pavilion with restrooms, grills, and trash receptacles. Yelpers claim McKoy Park is clean and well-kept with renovations just completed on the picnic pavilions, concession stands, and new bathrooms that can be used year-round. The park also includes a pool complex with beach entrance, sizeable shallow area for toddlers, and a larger area for swimming laps.
Entrance to the park is free, however there is a small fee to use the pool ($2 for children and $3 for adults). Parking is available and easy to find in two separate parking areas.
